Fluke — Bucktail & Teaser
The bycatch program that refuses to be one.

THE FALL BITE
The hit is ON THE FALL — a tap, or the jig just goes heavy. Drop the tip a half-second, then sweep-set. Fluke pin the bait before they eat it.
WEIGHT BY WATER (CURRENT, NOT DEPTH)
Bay flats 3/8-1/2 · bulkhead 1/2-3/4 · inlet seams 1-2 oz. Can't feel the tick = go up a size. Drags dead = go down. Bottom contact IS the technique.

FISHING IT
1Cast up-current; let it touch down.
2Snap the tip 6-12", fall on semi-tight line, tick, snap again.
3Change the Gulp color before you change the spot.
CURRENT SNAP 6-12" HIT = ON THE FALL TICK BOTTOM EVERY FALL — CONTACT IS THE TECHNIQUE
KEYS
18" minimum means most fluke swim — same wet-hands, in-water release as the sea bass program. The teaser takes the small aggressive fish; the bucktail takes the doormat. When bergalls shred Gulp, switch to squid strips and keep fishing the same water.
